Susan's Story

Hello everyone: Please check Classmates.com Events Page- EVENT: ONLINE REUNION, classes 1970-1982 which runs until August 31. I hope that you all write in to tell us about your lives, stories and adventures- some really great "Before" photos (Paly years and amazing 70's photos) have been coming in also. We are an interesting group of people I think. We straddled at least three eras in American History- with more to come. Don't forget to breath! Cheers! Hoping everyone is OK and you've been on a few adventures since we were "in the school yard?!" I think I would have enjoyed graduating about two years early- but friends are important too, there were good times and those years were valuable. Have lived in Chicago and NYC and traveled to Europe as I'm sure many of you have. I'm a first generation American on my mother's side. She's from Utrecht, the Netherlands. I FINEALLY received a Masters in Fine Art (studio)/Art History and Cultural Anthropology- am teaching college courses in Berkeley USA...Expand for more
(yay). I can tell you it seemed to take FOREVER to get here! Am also a Painter (of pictures, not houses this time- but I will probably need to paint my house one of these days!) and enjoy some fleeting notoriety- amongst friends, family and local shows etc. I plan to live until I'm at least 100, so maybe I'll see you all one of these days- have missed many reunions I think. Have lost contact with friends, even the best from Palo Alto High days- too much moving around I suppose. For instance, I wonder where Julie Demers is in case anyone knows. I assume all is well with her, she was happily married with a daughter and I spoke to her about twelve years ago. CHEERS to everyone! I've seen a few of you along the way, but for the last ten years I haven't. Perhaps I pass you but you look different so I don't know its you? I'm making contact now because I know we will all be 60 soon enough (Lord- that can't be!) HUGS and best to all of you, all-ways Susan L. ALL music is the answer Susan L.
