Susan's Story
Life
Hi, My maiden name is Libman. I've been married for 20 years to Doug, and we have two children, Samantha 19, and Joshua 17. Sam is a Sophmore at Bridgewater State College, majoring in Education and Art. Josh is a Junior at Carver High School and plays on the Varsity Soccer team. When we were first married we lived in Plymouth in a house that Doug converted from a cottage into a home. We then built a house in Kingston, living there for 6 years. I became involved somewhat politically in town by working with a small group of people to first, prevent a multi-town landfill from being established, and next to building a playground for the town of Kingston . rry bog. Once my children were in school full time I went back to work full time in my under-grad field of Ed. Once working as a substitute teacher I decided to get my Masters in Education in Reading. After working as a Reading Teacher, back in Randolph for a few years, I became a Reading Specialist in Mansfield. I am now in my 4th year there and love it.
Currently, the hardest part of my life is raising my teenage kids. It is true what I was told as a mom with toddlers, "Small kids, small problems, bigger kids bigger problems." I just hope that they both make it through these years okay, and then I can cope. Any tips?
Anyway, I look forward to seeing everyone at the next reunion, and I'm psyched that it's a whole weekend that's planned.
