Susan's Story
Life
As I reflect on all that I have done, where I've been, and the people I have met. It has been quite an adventure from a small town girl who grew up in Afton and Creston Iowa to well traveled lady who has seen most of the world. I spent a good number of years in Saudi Arabia. Worked for Aramco in Housing, and then in the Aviation Department. My free time was spent heavily involved with the Dhahran Theatre Group first as the Costume Designer and then as Lighting Designer and hostess to the Annual Arammy's. As Lighting designer - I had the priviledge of working lights for many of the rock & roll groups of my era when they came to Arabia to perform. A favorite memory is when Joyce Rice of Greenfield came to Arabia to perform and she remembered when I had been one of her baton students.

m Saudi and a divorce I found a niche for myself amongst high profile clients in Houston, TX. With one of my clients, we recently published a book about Texas' historical county jails and are currently working on another historical book about Texas.
During my travels through this life - I treasure the friends that I have made around the world, my children: Russell G, Delbert and Staci Husted, my seven wonderful grandchildren Bethany, Aaron & Mariah(RG's), Alicia and Ryan (Delbert's) and Max and Sydney (Staci's)
Additionally I have been an avid genealogist since high school and now do genealogy for clients. Retirement - well, according to my clients that will be a long time coming.
