Susan's Story
LIFE IS NOT QUITE A FAIRY TALE...
BUT ALMOST!
Since leaving High School my life has been nothing like I expected. I thought I would graduate from college, move to LA or NY, work in the Entertainment Industry, MAYBE get married BUT NEVER HAVE CHILDREN! I kind of did the opposite. I married a Naval Officer had 3 children and spent 23 years traveling from coast to coast enjoying life and my family. As of this date we have been married 28 years..WooHoo!
I became a Registered Nurse in 2000 in Monterey California (my favorite place to live ever!) and my specialty is Post-Partum and Newborn Baby. My husband retired in 2002 and we moved to Orlando Florida. He works for WDW. We are all doing great.
It has not all been 'loverly'. There have been challenging health problems and we have lost our parents. It was stressful moving a lot and not all of our duty stations were easy. However, those are the normal things that occur in every marriage an...Expand for more
d we have stuck it out through thick and thin.
Our kids are happy and healthy and starting lives of their own. Billy and Lorri are still in College, working and living on there own away from home..but close. Annie is going to a Performing Arts High School--of course!
The most important thing in my life though is my relationship with Jesus. I read His word and I try to live a life that is pleasing to Him. I believe I am saved by Grace because He died for my Sins, and it gives me great comfort to know that this life is not all there is...there is something better, something MORE! I go to church regularly and I support Missions around the world. I consider it an honor and a priviledge to pray for those who need or want prayer. God is good..all the time!
So that is my life in a few paragraphs. I'm sure most of you won't remember me.I was a Chorus and Theatre geek at Grace King with friends mostly from those groups. but I would love to hear from anyone who might rmember the good old days.
