Susan's Story
I currently live in Great Falls, Montana. I met my husband in 1994. We married in 1996. We have two daughters, one is 16 years old, the other is 4 years old. We have a great dog and an old grumpy cat. We like to travel, ski, snowboard, camp and just hang out with the family. In the last few years I have started running, cycling and swimming and have competed in two triathlons, an open water swim and three half marathons. My goal for 2014 is to run a full marathon.
We just got the news that my husband is being transferred to Texas. So, Corpus Christi here we come! We're pretty excited. We love Montana. But, Corpus Christi looks pretty amazing. We bought a house on Padre Island. So, I'm thinking life will ...Expand for more

As for my school years, I didn't take the traditional route. Some of you may remember me as a rebel. I didn't finish high school, but got my GED at 15. I went to college a few years later. I graduated from LPN school at Renton Technical College in 1991, then Highline Community College in 1999 with my AAS-RN. Then, I got my BSN at Hawaii Pacific University in 2002. I graduated with my MSN from Vanderbilt in 2003.
I'm an acute care nurse practitioner in pulmonology and critical care. But, I will be transitioning to a urology practice in Texas. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner I was an ICU nurse. My husband is a pilot. He flies jets and Black Hawk helicopters.
