Susan's Story
~ The Story of My Life ~
Some of you may know me for my Flaming Red Hair or my last name Newerry (Pillsbury or Oldberry)
I left Sunny California, for the Beautiful state of Oregon, to a town called Seaside, 30yrs.ago.it's a coastal mountain town. To marry (but now divorced) and raised my 4 children (2 girls & 2 boys). Until, 2001 I lost a big piece of my heart, when I lost my daughter Steffanie, from complications she suffered from in a car accident. She was 15. My oldest daughter Renee,has given me the most precious gift a daughter could give her momma, 3 grandchildren. 2 beautiful girls and a most interjected little boy. When my grandson was born and barely 24hrs old, Bub, had to be life flighted to OSHU in Portland. My grandson had to have open heart surgery to reconstruct the valves that pump the blood to and from the heart, they also had to repair a whole in his heart. T...Expand for more
he Doctors said, he's going to be just fine and that he shouldn't play any contact sports unless he wears a chest protector. My son Ryan, works in Construction, he builds Beautiful homes all over Oregon, Who knows if he will ever settle down. Then my last but not least ,Cory, he's the last one to have to grow up. Cory is 10 and is in the 5th grade and was just recently diagnosed with ADD. He's doctor put him on some medication, which omg! has turned him around. He is so much easier to get along with and we are waiting to hear back from his teachers about how he's getting along in school. Then their is me. In 2005 I went to school to become a Certified Nurses Aid and Medication Assistant so from there I started working with the elderly that have Alzheimer's, I really enjoy working with them, and my biggest down fall is I get attached and when something happens to them, then I'm heart broken. This kind of work requires a lot of patients and love.
