Susan's Story

Well, you would have thought that I move out of CT after graduating. If I hadn't met my husband I probably would have. We have bounced around here in CT and now live in Bethel. After graduating college with just a Liberal Arts background I landed my first job where? Wilton! The one place I was trying to leave. Sheesh, my whole family had more sense to move out of CT. So, I worked for the Town of Wilton. First in the Assessor's Office and then the Tax Collector's Office. After that, it has been other odd jobs here and there. I married while working in Wilton and had a daughter that is 26 now and I will be a grandmother in June. I a...Expand for more
lso have a 20 year old son. In addition to two kids I have a small zoo here. At one point it was 5 dogs and one passed away several weeks ago. I have 3 Pit Bulls and 1 Lab. At the present moment, I am working in a grocery store in which I hate. I just grabbed a job after working at a craft store for 10 years. This was perfect for me since I like doing crafts. I still go up to Vermont and just recently sold my summer cottage but the family still has other houses up there. Dad died in 1993 - he had cancer. Jeff, my oldest brother passed away 2006 in the house we just sold. His death was unexpected but expected sooner or later.
