Susan's Story
Enjoyed my years at School 94 from 1966-67; from First Grade until Sixth Grade; November 1971. My Dad (parents) was transfered to Missouri (30 miles west of St. Louis) in 1971. Life completely changed, moved into a large subdivision with no sidewalks and not too many kids to hang out with. Was still able to walk to school. Our new large house sat on a Golf Course with woods and a creek behind our house, so me and my brother could still go off to the woods and catch crayfish and tadpoles. . My interest was in Interior Design so I attended a College in St. Louis. However, I ended up spending 28+ years in Banking. Lived in Kansas for a few years, then returned to St. Louis in 1988 and in 2003 moved to North Carolina to be near my brother and his family and my parents lived. Love living here! Just a few hours from the Mountains and the Beach. Met my husband here in NC and life is good. Some of my fondest childhood memories are of School 94 and living on Laughlin Dr. and playing with the kids in the area. Not a current member of "Classmates" so can't read any messages left. Sorry.
