Susan's Story
Life
My son and I lived in Jamestown RI for 14 years from 2006 to 2020 when I retired, after more than 20 years in the Boston area. While in Rhode Island, I was in charge of academic support, disability and ESL services at Salve Regina University. My wonderful and computer-loving son, Michae is now 25, and he and his long-time girlfriend, both artists and entrepreneurs, have recently discovered their wanderlust and a love of van-life. y for 20+ years at Curry College in Milton, Mass. I see brother and Westledge alum Jeff frequently - he lives with his wife of many years, Sandy, on Martha's Vineyard. They recently purchased a vacation home in Truth or Consequences, NM where their son lives with his new wife, and have fallen completely in love with southwest NM! Our parents passed pretty young - Dad in 1979 and Mom in 1990. I am now semi-retired (adjunct prof..) and living in Norfolk, CT, not far from my Canton roots. I love my tiny condo in a 1796 former tavern and stagecoach stop, my new community, and reconnecting with old friends, as well as enjoying the proximity to my childhood roots. Lots to be thankful for.
