Susan's Story
After high school I lived in the bay area for awhile and attended the SF State. I returned to Carmichael and married an E.C. graduate of '61 to help him avoid the Vietnam years draft. After four years and a little time studying art at American River JC, I returned to SF and studied more art at the SF Art Institute. I taught high school art for about five years until having my two children in the 80's. I remarried in '78.

cher of little ones at a nearby preschool. I make silly/fantasy creatures from clay and sell and display them locally. Some of my creations are viewable on my website: susanpress.com. Life is good. My children (a son and daughter) are grown and traveling the world, not yet ready to to start families of their own.
I always enjoy connecting with "those from home". My memories of my years at El Camino are positive. I look forward to our reunions.
