Susan's Story
Life
I've been married 30 years. Two children, boy 27 and girl 18, one granddaughter (9) and one grandson (2). My son and his wife had a baby boy on February 16, 2007. I work part time at a local college and I volunteer full-time (plus). I really enjoy my volunteering.
Don't have anything to do with law enforcement.
Still love Motorcycles, but don't own one currently.
Volunteered with local community theatre for 9 years. NOT on stage, business end of theatre. Done with that!
I was a Girl Scout Leader for the twelve years my daughter was a Girl Scout, but now I don't have a troop. I am a Master Trainer and a new troop organizer and new leader mentor. I am also active at the Service Unit (district) and Council level too.

College
MCCC for only 1 1/2 year, joined Army.
Anyone remember the Marti Gras trip, 1974? What a trip. Gas crisis, 36 hours driving, getting seperated from ride, sleeping in cars in parking lot, smoking..., Daytona Beach, borrowing money from Priest to fly home.... What an experience. Hope my kids don't find out. *grin*
Moved to NC in 1976, married a guy I met in Army, went to local Community College, to program computers, now work at same college. 25 years.

Met current husband (31_ yrs) in So. Korea. That's how a girl from Springfield ended up in North Carolina.
