LIFE-- UPDATED 5/27/13 I've been really lucky to have had such an interesting & full life. I waited to marry(31); until after I finished grad school & traveled. I worked at a Socialization Center in El Cajon, Calif., as a therapist with mentally ill adults. In 1988, I was offered a position at The San Diego Regional Center as a Supervising Therapist. I was in charge of overseeing group homes and hospitalized Dual Diagnosed clients (adults & children). This was a great position and I loved the staff I worked with! Yet, when I was 36, my husband & I moved to his home state, Ohio. I continued working with the Mentally Ill; as a supervisor of case managers. I missed working "directly" with the clients, so I transferred to a position as a therapist, for the homeless. Soon after, I started my family. I have 3 beautiful girls: ages 19, 18, & 16.
