Life
The kids are grown, done with school and building their careers, but they left their cats at home with my husband and I, and my Dad is now living with us.
School
I believe the teacher who inspired me the most was a math teacher in junior high. He had class a lot of fun with regular challenges for extra credit and contests at the board until only one student was left standing. I seem to remember...Expand for more
that Ashley Null was probably my strongest competitor. This teacher taught me to attempt tasks you didn't think you could accomplish and it was okay to stand up and not always win. He may be the reason I pursued Accounting, and I wish that as an adult I had let him know how he inspired me. This teacher went on to be Mayor of Salina, and then hit a difficult period in his life where he committed suicide.
