Susan's Story

Life Hi Friends, I have been a teacher in Texas for the last 25 years. I teach math and science to 6th graders in a public Montessori school in Fort Worth. Surprised I am not teaching music? Me too. Life never fails to surprise. I was recently in touch with Ed Schmiedecke- he is a music administrator in a big New Jersey school district. By the way, I have 5 kids and 10 grandkids and am married to the greatest guy who is a professor of Spanish. We are very active in our church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) and when we retire (7 months) we will go on a missi...Expand for more
on for our church. Love to all, Susie Here is the latest update. We retired in May (of 2009) and finally got our mission call. We will be serving in the Vina del Mar, Chile mission of the church. We report to the missionary training center in Provo, Utah on November 30. We will be there for about 2 weeks before they ship us off to Chile. We won't be back home in Texas until the beginning of June in 2011. Hope to keep in touch with all of you when we get back.
