Susan's Story
Life
After 16 years of living in sin my husband and I made it legal September 11, 1999. Jim is a wonderful stepdad to my two sons, James, age 38 and John, age 35. We are grandparents to James son, Jimmy, age 18 and James daughter, Julia, age 15. Life is good.
In May of 2004 we adopted Max from Lab4Rescue program. He is yellow lab/great pyrenees mix. He was 9 weeks old and 14 pounds when we got him. He was a year March 10th and weighed in at 103 lbs. He had to have surgery begin of March this year because he completely tore the ligiments in his knee. He is restricted to the leash for walking until middle of April. My husband and I no longer have a life. He is our baby.

ar I met Jim I began working for Security CT Life Ins. Co in Avon. Same place Angela Schiavone Arnott worked. I started out as a research analyst in 1983. After two mergers and my job as Customer Service Consultant went to Minot ND I was asked to stay on as an Historian for the company. Actually Angela and I both stayed on and went to the Hartford office at ING. In the spring of 2003 we made our last trip to Minot to train the last of manual functions. I was severed and have been home ever since. I am now doing Herbs, vegetable and flowers. My business name is Basil Etc. I am a member of the North West Farmers Market. I do the Saturday Market in Torrington located at the downtown Torrington Parkage.
