Susan's Story
Life
Greetings all who may be ex-Formanites or who are interested in ex-Formanites. Time flies and it has been 45 years since graduation.
My life has been focused on family with two grown, married, daughters, and five grandchildren all living in our neighborhood. We have had 11 Rotary Youth Exchange Students living with us over the years and Christine is pictured with us in my profile. She's from Taiwan. I retired from teaching nursing at our district community college with 35 years under my belt. Since retirement, I have kept busy with helping with grandchildren and volunteering in the community. husband and I have done a lot of traveling and we hope to be able to continue to travel once he's retired. I play Bridge once a week, Euchre once a month, and attend as many as possible of the musical and theatre performances offered at the Krannert Center (U. of. IL), Chicago, and elsewhere. My 'dark side' surfaces when I get to play Texas Hold'em and though I could never make a living playing Poker, I have managed pretty well in a couple of tournaments.
