Susan's Story
After graduatiion frm Glenns Ferry High I attended Stevens Henager Business College in Salt Lake City and graduated with an Associates Degree in Business. I married and (my Husband being with US Army ) we lived in West Germany (Berlin Wall was up) for 5 years. I returned to Idaho with my daughter and have been here since. I worked for First Security Bank of Idaho in Boise for 20 years as an Administrative Assistant in the Trust Dept. I specialized in Probate and Conservatorships. During that time I remarried and added a step-son and step-daughter to my family-we lived in Meridian for 29 years. I left the bank before byout time and worked 6 mos here and there. and at retail and worked in gift shop at Boise's Cracker Barrel Restaurant and Gift Shop on Cole Road for 5 yrs. There I ran into lots of Glenns Ferry folks and classmates. In 2003 we left Meridian and moved to Nampa--I started a new job with Farmers Insurance--met my boss on front porch while working at the Cracker Barrel. My husband passed away in 2006 and I am working and living here in Nampa. My daughter and family are near by. I like my job at Farmers Insurance--every day is a new learning experience. The single life and dating are quite the experience. Have done lots of traveling and Idaho is still where I want to be. Life is good would welcome hearing from friends.
