Susan's Story

Greetings to all. Four kids, two dogs, an old house, old cars, old boats...lots of old stuff apparently. Our oldest son Brewster is a master mechanic, racing BMWs and working at Turner Motorsports. He's engaged to a talented artist and they will be married this August 2012. Bridget is a pediatric nurse also engaged and getting married this August 2012 to an amazing soon-to-be doctor. Grace just finished her first year as a research scientist at the Mpala Research Centre in Kenya and is entering a PHD program in ecology at U Davis in the fall. Our youngest Tucker just graduated from HS by the absolute skin of his teeth. Luckily he has found his passion in cooking and will ...Expand for more
be going to New England Culinary Institute in Vermont this fall. Yahoo! Sorry if this sounds like bragging, but it has been a pretty amazing journey so far, and not always smooth. I'm kind of wrinkled up from all the worrying, but there are some laugh lines too : ) Fran is the Sailing Master at MIT, a challenging, but rewarding job he has had for the past 20 years. He now also manages a sailing club in Acadia in the summer, which is a gorgeous part of the world. As for myself, I have been painting more and still teach painting at North River Arts Society in Marshfield, MA. If you want to check out some of my paintings go to suecharlesstudio.com. Kind regards to all :) Sue
