Susan's Story

Life Hi! I was living in Concord, NH and I just retired from Concord High School. I was an art teacher there and focused mainly on ceramics. Retired from NH in 2009. Moved to CA. Taught there for two years before moving to Atyrau, Kazakhstan to teach for a few years at an International school! Fun, having lots of travel experiences, Stockholm, Bangkok, Istanbul, Tokyo etc etc... We headed off to Qatar that August! Stayed in Qatar for four years. Then...Expand for more
went to Asuncion, Paraguay. Teaching first grade in an International School. 2021 update! Took a grade five class for the second semester in 2020. It was great for a month, then pandemic hit and we went virtual. Stuck in Paraguay until they were able to get us out in June. Completed the virtual year here in the US. Decided to retire. Again!
