Susan - Back in the day
Well, let's see - where do I start? Most people probably wouldn't remember me from High School, as I pretty much kept to myself except with my small circle of close friends.
I attended two High Schools - Crowley in Crowley, (Ft. Worth) TX (sophomore and junior year). I was a talonette my jr year and couldn't have moved at a worst time; my senior year, I was Kansas bound and attended Blue Valley North in Overland Park, KS. Culture shock extreme...but hey, it forced me to adjust and I'm thankful for it now.
After graduating BVN, I was still bitter about graduating with people I barely knew and unfortunately, wasn't quite as ambitious as my fellow classmates. I took some JUCO courses and landed a job at SkillPath Seminars. Stayed with the company for 7 years, working various positions until there was nothing left to challenge me. Susie - In the present
Fast forward to '08, I'm still alive and kicking. I've been working for The Home Depot for about five years, in their corporate office. Was hired as a Project Coordinator then promoted to Office Administrator a couple years ago.
I'm a health and fitness nut and take very good care of myself (translation, I'm excessively high maintenance). I LOVE to shop and have a thing for shoes and handbags. I'm also a PADI certified SCUBA diver; however, I haven't dove in over 10 years. I have no children, nor do I plan to - it's just not in the cards for me.
I met a gentleman who challenges me and up until then, I realized I hadn't achieved my full potential. He's wonderful and I'm very blessed.
