Susan's Story
We all know that life is full of surprises and doesn't always go the way we thought it would :) That being said, I want to wish you all the best in 2011 :) My plans to become a lawyer turned into becoming a young wife and mother after 1 year at Ohio State. A few years later my only daughter Jenny was born and life was busy :) in Ohio. Scott and I vacationed in his home state of Maine and in 1987 had a serious car accident in Canada where Scott and the children were fine, but I was injured and in the hospital for a few weeks. Our new car was totaled but we were all alive and thankful. Our accident made us re-evaluate our lives and we decided to move to Maine and continue our college education in 1988. way through in 1991 and moved back to Ohio in 1993 where Scott worked in real-estate and I taught school. A better job offer came to Scott from Maine and we moved back here in 1995. Our son Shawn was born in 1996 and we bought a home and some land overlooking beautiful Soldier Pond.
Still here today :) with our 3 boys :) Bryan is a federal Customs Officer and married to his high school sweetheart Amy -they have 1 beautiful little boy - Brody and we love being grandparents. Matt is in college majoring in Criminal Justice and Shawn is in 9th grade. Our daughter Jenny lives in Pennsylvania - she works in the busy tourist industry and performs as a singer/ song-writer in her spare time :) I love teaching :) and Scott works as an independent contractor and has an office at home :) Life is good and we are very blessed.
