Susan's Story
Life
I've been married to Martin Whitehead for 41 years.
( God, we're old!) We have 3 children- Beth(39) received a degree in criminology(cum laude)from U of Ottawa and is currently working in a mangement position at OTIP. She has a 14 yr old stepdaughter, Ally, and a 4 yr old ,Amelia. She's married to Jonathan, whom we call JP so as not to confuse him with our own Jonathan. Jonathan(36) works for the police as a 911 operator in Toronto, after attending Queen's, U of T and Humber College. He lives with his partner, Noel. Adam(34) is currently an area manager and completed a degree at Laurier U. Adam got married to our lovely Elyse in October, 2009. . Our 4 granddaughters are the absolute joy of my life. You think you love your children more than is possible, but when a baby granddaughter is placed in your arms, it's like nothing you could ever imagine. As of June 30th, 2018, I'm a retired French Immersion teacher at Lord Roberts P.S., London, although I will be going back to continue some of my extra curricular activities -musicals, choir, Quebec trip, girls' basketball. Yes, the girl who was asked to drop Phys-Ed has coached basketball since 1996, and had several City Champion teams. Strange, but true. I taught Grade 8 and Music for over 20 years, and spent the last 6 years of my career teaching Music, Drama and Dance. Martin works for IBM as a project manager.
