Sussanne's Story

Life What a life I've started living. Since graduating high school and then college, I have had 2 children who are grown now, a 9 year old grandson and 4 year old granddaughter, whom I absolutely adore! We are planning a week long trip to Florida at the end of February, and we can't wait to go to "Mickey's House" as my granddaughter says! I work for an agency that provides services to developmentally disabled folks and LOVE EVERY MINUTE I've worked there...who'd've thunk 25 years working at one place...I guess that's what happens when you're making other plans... age!!!! I am also a home provider for a developmentally disabled young man, over 2 years now I've been doing that! The only thing is... He loves Country music and I don't have such a strong love for it... We practice Karaoke every chance we get! I have recently finishe...Expand for more
d building a new house in Randolph Center, Vermont and am learning a lot more about myself - recently learning how to plow my own drive way! Amazing what one learns when one needs to! In just a few years I will be moving to Lincoln, Maine where I will learn to live off the land, working only when I need something I can't make or grow myself... Wow, am I crazy? Who would have thought that this girl from the city (Boston) would ever be able to consider such an idea... Well, as I said, I've learned a lot about myself in the last year... and am so looking forward to being "off the grid!" I love camping, walking, dining out, listening to a good band and dancing, and anything that requires laughter! But, I seem to be missing the memories of my childhood friends...please feel free to contact me if we know each other, I'd love to hear from you.
