Suzanne's Story
After high school, I went to a couple of different colleges, changed my major the same amount of times-- just trying things out, then I went to the "real school", Oral Roberts University. It was a big change for me! I found out what being a Christian was all about, made great friends, and majored in Christian Education.
I worked in the Methodist Church (Tennessee then Florida)for a while but felt boxed in. Next, I worked as a bookkeeper then a bank teller (back to Tennessee.)
After getting married, I had three sweet, adorable, but very energetic sons. I began to learn a lot about praying :) The marriage didn't work out, but my young men are a success, although it's still in the making.
For 15 years, I've been teaching at the private school which is a part of my church, and I love it! (The teaching and my ...Expand for more

I passionately love God, enjoy and love my wonderful sons, and find joy in teaching, especially Bible-- my favorite class! I haven't gone on a missions trip yet, although my sons have gone on several. But I will. And God has been good enough to bring the mission field to me in my classroom! I've taught a number of young people over the years including international students from nations in Asia, Europe, and Africa. I've had the pleasure of feeding and watering all of them spiritually as well as academically, and leading some to the Lord. What a joy!
I'm blessed to live out in the country surrounded by the beauty of nature, and next door to my forever best friend and sister, Libby.
Even through there have been challenges in my life, I have to admit, I have a good life!
