Suzanne's Story
Life
After Seabreeze, I graduated from Stetson. Moved right away to
Washington, D.C. on a dare that I couldn't handle being more than 20 miles from home for one year! I loved it there! Meeting Jeff Kenkel helped me appreciate life outside the Volusia County line. I worked at Georgetown University as a secretary for a couple of years because that was the only place that would hire me since my psych degree with no experience wasn't an easy sell. Eastern Dept. It was very cool! I worked on the Central Bank of Kuwait at the time of its invasion by Iraq and participated in the redistribution of new currency once the occupation was over. I got to travel a lot to Qatar and Pakistan after that. I pretty much just audited books at their Central Banks for weeks on end. Scary since I still use my fingers and count out loud. Jeff and I had Matt in 1993 and Ashley in 1995. Jeff's work brought us to Dallas, Texas in 1996 where we currently are living. God I miss the beach!!!
