Serving the Homeless in Santa Ana since July 2010...
Civic center in Santa Ana. Every weekend our church and another church join together to feed the homeless. We pray over them and give them encouragement and hope. God is in action. Recently a woman who owns a snow cone business volunteered to come during the hot weather with an ice machine and eight flavors. Two weeks ago she gave out 200 snow cones for free and she called to let us know she will be there on Sept 14, 2014 ready to help. Her name is Gina and she is so excited. nating an In-N-Out Burger truck to serve the homeless before Christmas. He plans to serve 500 burgers & 500 fries and many drinks. This Thanksgiving a catering company is volunteering to serve the Sunday after Thanksgiving 200 hot meals with all the trimmings. The company sets up serving tables with a staff of volunteers. We cover the cost of food and the catering company volunteers all that is required. We are witnessing miracles and seeing an open heaven. We are seeing people clean up; some of them get off the street. They know someone cares enough to notice that they possess self respect and dignity.
