I'n not so great at this internet stuff as you can tell if you visited my profile and found . . . nothing! Sorry about that, but this is my first foray into kinda sorta figuring it out. How the hell do you put photos up--and how many of us want to?

Been teaching 26 years--would love to hear from former students.
Around 2000 I ventured back into writing after 25 years or so and got lucky, with a collection of short stories (Opposable Thumbs) and two novels (In a Temple of Trees and In the Dark of the Moon) coming out in the years between then and now. If you are a reader, I would love feedback from you if you happen to read any of my writing.

on Waterhole Branch off Fish River, and the folks around here are crazy but in a good way. They are offbeat and love to have fun, so it makes life interesting. We have the annual Shoe Burning as well as an annual Chinky-pen Festival.
Life is good and, as I near the inevitable, I hope to laugh all the way. I think it is just plain silly not to be silly.
I hope to hear from some of you, because, as I say, I have no clue how to navigate around this site and it can't be very difficult. It's ust that I am really one of those techno-challenged people. Apologies.
