Suzanne M's Story

My family moved to Cheltenham PA from Massachusetts in March of 1951 and then to North Hills PA in December of 1951. I attended North Hills Elementary School, Glenside-Weldon Junior High School and Abington Senior High School. Upon graduation I returned to Massachusetts and attended the Melrose Wakefield Hospital School of Nursing and graduated with a Diploma of Nursing and obtained my RN License. During my nursing career I worked in many specialties including the operating room, ophthalmology, orthopedics, respiratory, surgical nursing and rehab nursing. Upon graduation I stayed in MA and met my husband Robert. We were married on August 7th, 1965. We have three awesome children; Kim, Jami, and Gary, nine grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. brief battle with stomach cancer on June 12, 2015. I have been retired since 2003 Suzanne 's interests include Operation Troop Support (I am on the Board of Directors), follow the activities of 102nd Intelligence Wing, Massachusetts Air National Guard (Her son Gary is a member of this Air National Guard Unit), Boston Celtics, New England Patriots, Red Soxs . Music she likes includes Lee Hawkins Band, Nat King Cole, Celtic Woman, Irish music. Movies she likes include Indiana Jones, Australia: The Movie, The Sound Of Music. TV shows she likes include Outlander (I have read all the books) Military Channel, Smithsonian Channel, TLC and History Channels. One of Suzanne 's favorite quotes is:""Whatever", "Go for it"".
