Suzanne's Story
Life
I am currently in the middle of a dissolution of marriage and I have two sons. Gavin who is currently 3 and Ethan who is 1 year. I am working on my second associate's degree through Southern State Community College. I have moved into my own apartment and I am attempting to hopefully get my life back on track.
School
My name is Suzanne Ouellette and I went to Lynchburg-Clay High School. Back then my last name was Masters. I didn't participate in many sports but did watch them. I was in Drama for two years and I loved every minute of it. I was a relatively shy person until Drama. I graduated High School in 2001 and lost track of most of the people I hung out with.
Currently working on my second Associates in Medical Assisting.
Workplace
After I graduated High School I went to work with my Dad at Nelson's Tree Company. I traveled back and forth to Kentucky 5 times a week and worked with all guys. I would have to say that I had the best time of my life while I was working there. In 2001 I joined the Navy, where I met ...Expand for more
my husband, and I got out this February of 2006 with an Honorable Discharge. After I receive my degree I will be looking for a job within the Administrative Assistant field.
Military
After I graduated High School I took a year off and worked with my Dad. After that I joined the Navy. Where I went to boot camp in Great Lakes Illinois. I left for boot camp Feb. 19, 2002. Boot camp lasted about 2 months and I am proud to say I made it. I left boot camp April 27, 2002 and went on to Lackland Air Force base in San Antonio, Texas for my "A" school which was "MA". That stands for Master at Arms which is basically Law Enforcement. That lasted about 7 weeks. After leaving home I went to Rota, Spain. I was stationed there for 3 years and 9 months and was still doing Law Enforcement duties. I only enlisted for 4 years in the Navy. So the end of my four year mark was February 18, 2006. So I am finally a civilian again. I have met a lot of people but you make some and then you loose some. Somethings just weren't meant to be forever.
