I graduated from Haltom in 67. For the next two years I worked and went to school partime so that I could be more qualified to fly for American Airlines.....Had to be 19 before I could even be considered for the job.....After landing the job with AA I moved to New York city and lived for 2 years flying around the US at that time AA was not international and just as I quit that job they became an international airline. I had met my husband to be before I began flying but felt like if it was meant to be that he would still be there when I was ready. Then in Oct. of 1970 we married and settled in Ft. Worth. We now have two beautiful daughters, Natalie and Ashlyn who are graduates from UT and San Marcos respectively. Through their growing up years my husband Jack worked as the Public Works Director for the city of Irving and I taught 26 years as a public school teacher...The two of us have retired and moved to Austin to be closer to our daughters.
