Suzanne's Story

Suzanne is from Dripping Springs, Texas. Suzanne's schools include Assumption Academy. Suzanne later attended Chicago Public Schools. Suzanne owns Imagine A Horse at Red Horse Ranch in Dripping Springs,mTexas. One of Suzanne's favorite quotes is:"Pray to God AND Row to shore!". Believe it or not, I remember everyone that I've seen sign in here and I left Assumption in 1967. Been in Texas since 1988. Before that was in Montana and Wyoming for many years. The economy is great here which has been a blessing. My sister Mary and her family are in Missoula. Youngest brother, Tom is in Rock Springs, Wy with his family. Sadly, Dad, Nick and John have all passed some time ago. Mom,(Betty) has been gone since 2014. She was 90 and sharp as a tack. I was blessed to have her across the street from me for 8 years before losing her. We had many good times. When Mom turned 40 she became an air traffic controller which sa...Expand for more
ved our family from a very low income bout. She retired as one of the only women "Chiefs" in the FAA At that time. She was a pioneer in her field. She was by far the most intelligent of all of us! Working on getting a summer home in AZ in the mountains as it is very hot here in the summer. My husband and I are horse trainers. We mostly train Trick Horses and I've had a horse boarding facility here since 1998. It's been a good living...lots of fun and outdoors. I spent 30 years in radio sales management and that was a great ride too although e stress finally enticed me to quit. While working in Casper, Wy a number of years ago I attended a broadcasters' seminar and had the pleasure of meeting Betty Kuhnl (again) as she was in radio also. I enjoyed our visit a LOT. I have one son, Brian who lives in Austin which is only 23 miles. You can see. What fun we have every day at Imagine A Horse. Sue De Laurentis
