Suzi's Story
Life
I have just recently returned to school to pursue a second Master's Degree (the first was in psychology) in Nursing. It is my intention to be a Nurse Practitioner. I have spent the last 6-7 years as a medical researcher. Before that, I worked as a law clerk, a yoga teacher, a therapist, and a cook at a Tibetan Buddhist meditation retreat center, among some other odd jobs. I also write short fiction (published many times), and illustrated a book of poetry edited by Exene Cervenka (of X).

College
After High School I spent years and years at San Francisco State University, where I did extensive field research in addiction/alcoholism. I also got a degree, but that was miraculous. Since I quit drugs and alcohol, however, I have discovered that I love school (it is much better than working). Thus, after my last job ended (I completed it), I decided I should go back to school to become a Nurse Practitioner.
