Sydney's Story

Thanks All for looking at me, my profile. I changed my name two years ago, but the old name you know me by is Nina Walsh. Some of my best memories were of St. Helens and you who were part of the happiest times of my life. Do you guys remember Barbara Patrick, Susan Butterworth, Linda Gosslin, Pat Hendrinks, Rita Zimmerman, Marla Bronson, Etc. I spent my life struggling. I am a veteran, and am a graduate. My life has been unusual, as am I. Do you remember the Stanford dance we had, and I had to 'upgrade' my lack of breasts with kkeenex? I had to borrow a dress from Marla Bronson. Do you remember that 1950's horror movie we all got to watch, the one where there are these turtle like creatures with long necks, that sucked the bones out of everyone, and the whole town was in a big church? Do you remember Hasket with her adorable small dog and bow, and Matron Jones, and Matron Piscelle ( I think that 's her name?) Does anyone remember the 'kid' who was up in a tree, while you all were on terra firma drinking beer (Brador-labatt 50) and using a guitar singing Bob D...Expand for more
ylan? 4 Strong Winds, and American Pie? Do you remember Pat Going, our choir mistress, and Miss Ichino? Do you remember how I pulled out Miss Ichino's chair at the head of the table, but didn't put it back in and she fell on the floor? Do you remember Mr. Reid ? Do you remember when we were at the Head Table with Mr. Reid, and I pushed out my stomach, as if pregnant? Do you remember the lazy beautiful days in the summer with the bees droning, and flourishing plants and trees everywhere? Do you remember going to the village to get cigarettes? And Coke and Chips? And dip? All a new thing that, the food part, not the cigs. LOL. How wonderful was that world we lived in. Incredibly so. Do you remember the 'show' we put on for the 'Age of Aquarious' ? In the gym, for all parents. Do you remember me inventing an artificial cigarette, blowing powder while we went to Chapel? Anybody have an extra Year book, please talk to me. I would like one. 1967 would be good. Those were among the best years we ever had girlfriends, and never let us forget. Be Well all of you. Sydney
