Sylvia's Story
I have lived from one coast to the other. I have made a few trips to Europe. I graduated from ASU-Jonesboro with my Masters in Communication and Theatre. I currently teach communication courses at a two-year liberal arts college, and I am the Academic Resource Center Coordinator. I was married to my first husband who passed away a few years ago and have since remarried. My husband is retired. I have had over a hundred of my poems published, many short stories, and several professional articles. My public speaking adventures has mostly been on bladder cancer to groups, and radio and tv talk shows. One of my most memorable presentations was when I was the guest speaker for the White House Communications observance of Women's History Month.

I have three published books, An Underground Jewell, Pulse Points of a Woman's World, and Merchild Land my newest book will be released in February 2012. The title of the new book is, Traveling a Rocky Road with Love, Faith and Guts. I have a blog for the book by the same name.
I have a blog, Thoughtful Reflections, that is directed toward author and others in the publishing world. I, also, have a facebook page, Ramsey's Sacrificial Metaphor. My page on Authors' Den will let you know what I am curently up to at the moment. I am still teaching, writing, and Coordinator for the ARC at Georgia Military College - Martinez College.
