Sylvia's Story
Life has been great and this year I am looking forward to a new challenge. After teaching junior high for more than thirty years, I am retiring. However, I am starting a new career with Parsons' Productions, a consulting business that my son and I have started. Doug Jr teaches at NorQuest College and has written a curriulum for English as a Second Language. We are going to provide workshops through out Alberta for people that are new to Canada and need a better grasp of English. My daughter, Kat, has started school to be a hair stylist and loves...Expand for more
every minute of it. She does some modeling on the side.
Happy moments .. spending the summer on our boat in the Shuswap. I love the water and the gorgeous weather there. Spring is on its way and I am pretty happy about that. Trying to take more time to "slow down and smell the roses" instead of charging through the day. I do hope that everyone is well and has found life to be rewarding.
My husband still works for Maxxam Analytics doing testing in the oil field. He loves his job and says he will keep working forever! I say, "Good for him!"
