Sylvia's Story
Funny, positive, witty, and always in a good mood ready for an adventure.
My first job was at Head Start, where I got paid $3.35 hr to play. What I remember most about it is the songs and games.
My family, friends, and educators have enriched my life.
Someone once said that "a picture is worth a thousand words." Just look at the smile in my grade school picture. My family has a close relationship with each other and God.
My friends past or present have given a different aspect on life's events.
Educators past or present have taught that if I can make a difference in one person's life I have reached success. And being who I am I have made a difference in more than a dozen person's life. I have ...Expand for more
witnessed first had what a loving, caring, creative attitude can do to a child. I love working with Head Start. That has been the most rewarding opportunity life can give. Working with teachers and parents has been instumental with my ambition to earn a PhD. I want to continue on my quest to give my family, friends and McAdoo School educators a landmark recognition. I pray that classmate will serve as a stepping stone in our quest to reunite as many McAdoo students.
