Tabitha's Story
Life
For any one who really knew me, they would imagine I live an extemely conventional life. A year after graduation I married my high school sweet heart, Dirk Beneke. We moved to Phoenix Arizona for Dirk's job. In 2001 we had a baby girl, Madison Page. Then in 2003 another baby girl, Janelle Rene. We lived in Phoenix for almost 8 years. Dirk got a job transfer so that we now live outside of Bloomington Illinois in a village called Downs. I currently stay home with my two girls. We own a three bedroom house on a cul-de-sac and I drive a mini-van. You can't get any conventional then that! Over all, life is going exactly as planned.
School
I went to elementary school at Mint Valley. My friends there included Hope Hanson, Haley Lewis, Tonya Hicks, Lacy Peterson and Missy. Then off to Cascade for the awkward years. I was friends with Joni Hobbs, Heather Williams, Juan Mejia, Jinny Beck, my cuz Brian, Jake Mattison and Ana Reyes. For two years I went to Mark Morris high school where I mostly kept the same friends. Joni, Heather, Juan, Ana. But also included there was Rosie Brock. Joni dropped out of high school and Rosie transferred to Kelso. So being the follower that I was, I went to Kelso. There I met this gorgeous guy named Dirk. And for some reason he liked me...a lot. ation he STILL liked me and so I married him and moved to Phoenix. There I attended one semester of college at Rio Salado. But I got pregnant and dropped out. I still have intentions on going back to pusue becoming an elementary school teacher once my two girls are in school themselves. That's about it for school.
Workplace
During and a year after high school I worked at Quivers Drive through espresso. That was a fun job where I liked my employer and no stress environment. After I moved to Phoenix I worked nearly two years at Charlotte Russe. First at Metro and then at Arrowhead. That job didn't suit me. Hard work, low pay and moral wis aweful. So I quit and got a job with Norwest Mortgage aka Wells Fargo Mortgage. I was in customer service aka customer punching bag. Hated that job so I quit it to do volunteer work with my church full time. Wasn't satisfied with that either and longed for a baby, so I quit that and had a baby. Now this was a good job for me. But taking care of your own baby doesn't pay anything, so I started working at an elementary school in the enrichment program. LOVED IT! I worked there for a wonderful year until my husband moved us too far for me to continue working there. So now I am back to being an at-home-mom. I like it, but would like to be back at an elementary school. Will pursue that at a later time.
