I have two great children, my son , Nick is 24 and lives in Thorton Colorado with his beautiful wife Jamie and my lil princess Mikayla. Yes, we are Grandparents and love every minute of it. They are expecting their 2nd child in September 08. My daughter Jeni is 22 and lives in El Paso with her husband Zack and my handsome grandson Mason and our new Grandbaby Kaydence Annalee who was born Feb 11th 2008, she is sooooo beautiful !!! I still can't believe that our kids are grown and now raising their kids.....LOL We have had alot happen to my family in the past year and a half. My son, Nick was in the military for about a year and a half and was injured in Iraq. He was a MP (Military Police). He was caught in an ambush and was severly injured. They said that he was going to be a complete Quadripilegic w/ a feeding tube for the rest of his life. He has a C-1 thru C6 spinal injury, in other words he broke his neck. erything in our power to help in in whatever way. It has been a long and very hard journey but Nick has come a long way. He is now walking, talking and most of all enjoying life the best that he can. He still has some paralysis on his right side but he is alive and that is what matters. He has been working for the PVA (paralyzed veterans of america) and is doing AWESOME things. He has been going on exotic hunts and enjoying life with his family. My daughter Jeni is in Realestate and is doing awesome, her husband Zack is in the military and we pray everday that he will not be deployed but if he does then he is ready, and we will support him 200%. Walt and I are enjoying life to the fullest. Walt retired from the military in 2004 and is now working for TSA and loving it. I am still a nurse and into Restorative therapy and I love it. I work very hard but I love my patients and it is very rewarding. I enjoy traveling and boy do we travel!!!!!!! We are leaving May10th for a cruise to Alaska and then to Oregon to buy some land. I hope to hear from you soon......it would be GREAT to chat and have some fun.....LOL.
Hope all is well w/ everyone
