Tammara's Story
Life
My second(and last)marriage. Collectively, we have 7 children, (3 mine, 2 his, 2 ours (1 we adopted). We have 7 granddaughters and 12 grandsons (one of the 12 passed away at 2 months). We have one great-granddaughter. My husband is part of a family owned business with 2 shops. I am a retired master baker and cake decorator. I have a close personal relationship with God. My husband, children and grandchildren are my world. I have Chronic Neuro-Lyme Disease which has caused me to become a huge advocate for change in the IDSA and CDC guidelines on diagnosing and treating Lyme Disease. lled "the great imitator". Many times Lyme is misdiagnosed as chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, MS and a myriad of other diagnoses. Be warned, Lyme is everywhere. If any of you ever have any questions, feel free to ask, anytime.
Workplace
I have worked as a professional baker and cake decorator since 1982. I was a bakery manager for Safeway corporation for 10 years. We then moved our family across country from Oregon to Florida. My husband owns a business and I basically just help him out there every now and then. I worked for about 3 years as a bakery manager in a small town bakery in a place called "The Villages", Florida. I am now a stay at home Mom and that IS a full time job. We were foster parents for several years. Before that, I was a Guardian ad Litem (children’s advocate in court) for 6 years. That was heart wrenching, but a very important job that there are way too few of!
