Tammie's Story

Tammie is from Falls Church, VA, and currently resides in Woodbridge, VA. Tammie is happily divorced. Tammie's schools included Falls Church High School, NOVA Community College (Psychology), University of Phoenix (Criminal Justice). Tammie work(ed) as a Defense Contractor for 25+ years, at misc. Govt. sites / Military bases. Tammie has 3 children: Daughter, Terri, born 10/1984 - 14 days after completing all H.S. classes/credits; came back in June 1985 to walk across the stage with my Graduating Class of '85. Married SCK 09/1996, had my son, Tyler, 06/1998, then had my 2nd daughter, Alexis (I call her Lex), 07/2001. Was married for 10 yrs (together 15 yrs total), Happy in the beginning, ended in abuse. My youngest graduated 08/2019 and works at Sheetz. Due to medical & spine conditions, I had to stop working and go on perm. physical disability on 12/2012; my son and daughter (and many pets) keep me occupied at home (though I MISS working). One of Tammie's favorite quotes is:"- "Enjoy the little things in life, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things." (Author: Unknown) - Always live by "The Golden Rule". The flip-side is, I do believe in "KARMA". - "Life is about putting your 'best foot forward', and keeping it there" (Author: Me :)". And, my Senior Year Book misspelled my name, and typed "Tahela Shillingberg", instead of Tamela "Tammie" Shillingburg.
