Tammy's Story
Hope I hear from some old classmates from the old graduated class of 1984 in South San Francisco - High School....GOOOO WARRIORS...
Here are some things I did not put down on my Q&A. They are as follows:
1. Formerly I was an Exec. Asst. for an economic development company based out of Alsace, France. They were called ADI for Alsace Development Int'l. I worked in Redwood Shores, CA. Since then I have retired.
2. I was never able to have children but do have two step-children that are grown. One of them lives in our duplex. His name is Adam and he is 24 years old. The other is Laura and she lives in Mountain View. We all get along and I am happy they are in my life. I also have two dogs that are like children - Jack & Dolly.
3. My husband retired early and now is an owner/operator and driving a truck delivering gardening supplies for Granite Rock. He worked for 28 years as a Grand Master Mechanic and retired 3 years ago from the automotive industry.
4. I enjoy going on motorcycle rides through La Honda & Pescadero ...Expand for more
with my husband on his Harley, visiting with friends, writing letters to friends far away, and making sure that my mom is taken care of in her old age.
5. I have a wonderful sister-in-law and brother-in-law. We get together once a month for dinner to visit and catch up on things.
6. I love camping, hiking, nature, photography, animals, the ocean, reading, talking on the phone with friends, creating things/crafts, decorating our home during the changing of the seasons, having tea, and going out to have tea with friends at tea-rooms in the bay area.
7. I do photography during the fall in Napa (harvest time of the grapes). That is one of MY FAVORITE things to do.
8. This fall I am going to enter into a photo contest for the first time at Mumm/Napa. Wish me luck....
9. Oh...a couple of more things.... I collect antiques and vintage items....grow some old variety of pink roses in my front garden... I also have a small secret garden on the side of my cottage/home.
