2008-STILL working in IT for Horizon BCBSNJ, now as a Project/Business Analsyt specializing in System Integration of medical policy. I've been with Horizon for 19 years. Finally starting to do some work from home 2 days a week. I commute over 100 miles round trip to Newark, so being home a couple of days really helps. Especially now that I'm a single mom.

In 1988, I married my husband, Perry. In 1992, we bought our home in rural NJ. For those of you who think all NJ is like Newark, then you haven't been to Jersey. Remember what Amherst & Milford were like in 1979? Well...my town is more rural than THAT. An area about the same size as Amherst, we still have less than 6,000 people and still a lot of horses & cows, goats, sheep and several Christmas Tree farms right in my neighborhood. We have deer in the yard all the time; fox and black bears are also very common. We live in NW Jersey, coincidentally near another Milford (PA). Love it here. In 1993, our son, PJ (Perry Junior) was born, and his activities have pretty much been my life since then. From karate and soccer when he was younger, to a more settled schedule of football, basketball and baseball. Throw in some dirtbiking, bmx'ing, skateborading and snowboarding and you can pretty well guess I don't have much of a life outside of running Mom's Taxi.
In Nov 2005, PJ & I lost our best friend, Perry, quite unexpectedly and immediately PJ & I were thrust into the holiday season, all our birthdays and all those special days without him. We struggled with it for a while but now we're on our feet and give each other strength. He's a great kid and I am so proud of him.
2008 - this year we will hopefully and FINALLY start our own home make-over. The house is over 30 years old and in need of some major rennovations. I got the necessary variance from the town and come spring will be applying for the building permit.
YEAH!
