Life
Hi! Everyone. I am married to Tery Revels 28 years, he's a postal clerk. We have 3 wonderful children, Lacy (31) & special guy Malcolm Hall, Jessica (28) & husband Eric DiVona and Megan (24) & husband Brant McDonald. Then here are the perfect grandchildren that they have blessed us with. I have seven, (Lacy's) Madison Ashley (10), Mackenzie Grace (7) and Mia Elizabeth (5) (hopefully get to add Josh (18) & Breanna (16) to our list)---(Jessica's) Brett Michael (15), Alison Nicole (11) and Evan Warren (3) and (Megan's) Henry Brant Lewis Jr. (4).
Graduated from Hamilton High School 1976. I've gone from working at Carbide in Keokuk, Iowa to working at TRW in the foundry dept. (the only woman ever in the company to do so) to now being a Corporal at our local police dept. (16 years now). I do like my job, gets weird sometimes though.
I stay on the internet trying to stay up to date on hometown news. We lost our sister Lori on February 21st 2004. I am sure you all knew her. She is greatly missed each and everyday. Drop me an email sometime, I enjoy catching up on hometown gossip!!
All of my family are still up there, I am the only crazy one who is gone. South Georgia is a "special" place to be.
Update: April 2nd, 2009, the dam at Baymeadows Estate (owner Alan Gay Paulk) in Douglas, Ga. Coffee County, was broken and it flooded our home. Almost 5 feet of water stood in our house for 3 days. We lost 2 trucks, a car, all of our lawn equipment, my grandchildrens' toys, our contents inside the home valued over $95K (unbelievable). It is so sad that the person responsible for this entire situation hasn't made one attempt to help us rebuild our lives. WE LOST OUR HOME!!! And people on Youtube are complaining about the water being gone...Expand for more
in their lakes and weeds growing in their backyard. WHATEVER!!!
You get one do-over. What do you do differently?
I think my husband and I would have bought a farm and that is where we would have raised our children. I would have loved to been a farmers wife. Working the farm and teaching our children to appreciate hard work and God's blessings.
I always wanted to be a model when I grew up. My family and friends thought that it was a great idea. As it turns out, life didn't quite work out the way I'd envisioned it.
My Mom is my hero. A harder worker, more loyal & awesome woman, devoted Mother, someone more kind and generous and loving, you'll never find. All of her children pray that they have her attributes. I love you MOM.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is my sister Lori I really miss her. I would be a much better sister, be there for her more, I would tell her how much she means to me.
If I won $100 million, I'd give a couple million of it to my Mom and Dad and each of my siblings, then spend the rest on a home up North, a motor home, plus the gas to travel with and bank the rest. I'd give Tery's sisters some money too.
I need to ammend that a little (or at least add to it), there is a woman who lost her mobile home, I'd buy her another one and completely furnish it for her. She is a clerk at our local convenience store.
Wii. Exercise program. It is so cool and works you out like a mad man!!!
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the entire thing (we're having to rebuild because of the flood) and add on a / an elevator. My dream home would be a log home with sky lights and solar powered everything.
My current age is 50. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be SOOOO old. I was so completely wrong.
