Tammy's Story
My husband, Alan, and I have been married since 1987. We have two wonderful sons. Jacob was born in 1991 and Tyler came along in 1995. We lived in Wichita until September 2003 then we sold our home in West Wichita,packed our possessions into a moving truck, then packed our two kids, golden retriever (Molly), guinea pig (Jenny)and anything that couldn't fit into the moving van, into our two vehicles and headed east to the great state of Pennsylvania. We arrived just in time for the kids to start school and its been a whirlwind ever since. We now live in York PA. It's a definite change from the great plains. The sky is almost never blue here because of the humidity from the ocean. It's always hazy. There are so many trees!!! There are mountains!!! y direction - not like the 3 hour journey to KC or OKC. The town itself isn't too bad, but gosh I miss the Warren Theatre. The theater in York is in a shopping center and lacks everything the Warren has. Alan works for Sinclair Broadcast Group in Hunt Valley Maryland and I work as a Business Planner for ITT Corporation in Lancaster, PA. The boys enjoy living here but miss their friends and family back in Kansas.
At the next reunion in 2012 I would really like to see the people that I was closest to in high school. It's been 27 years since I've seen Mary Kozicki, Kim McDowell, Tonda Kaster, Troy Lindsey, and Tim Longman, to name a few. My high school boyfriend was from the class of 81, and from what I understand he no longer lives in El Dorado, but at some point I would like to see him as well.
