Life I'm divorced, and raising a teenage son. I had left Montana right after graduation, and we moved back about ten years ago. I had been anxious to get away from my mom and the entire Flathead Valley when I was a teenager and I'm so thankful that something pulled me back up here when it did. I had the chance to find what I'd lost with my mom, and we became such good friends. She's gone now, so I can't even explain how important this move back has been to me. I live in the same neighborhood that I did as a child, and my son is attending the same schools i attended. I love that! I have lived in Washington and Utah, and Montana is where I want my son to grow up. I want him to have memories of jumping in piles of maple leaves in the fall, and jumping off the dock at Foy's in the summer. Like I do. We have a variety of pets: three cats, an adorable Pomeranian, a hamster, and a fish. And any hungry stray animal in the neighborhood seems to be welcome at my house. The Pom is pretty jealous of all the other animals, but in general they all get along pretty well. My sister's 30 year reunion was a few years ago, and it got me thinking about my high school days. I was a nerdy chubby girl, so I spent most of the time trying to blend into the walls at school. In spite of my weight, I was lucky enough to not be teased about it, at least not to my face... Anyway, I was looking through the names of my classmates listed here in this site, and I was surprised by how few names I recognized.
