Tammy's Story
Life
I am back to Las Vegas as of September 2008. My baby graduated and turned 18 in June. She is currently attending NC State University. Her older sister and brother (both 21) are still at home watching my home while I am in Las Vegas living with my older sister and taking care of my not healthy father. I am currently employeed as a travel nurse and I am working at St Rose, San Martin on Labor and Delivery. My contract is through December then I will see what then.
School
I do not remember the crush or inspirational teacher. If I could do it all over again I would redo the bad and keep the good but I would not be where I am today without my past.
College
I attended Dixie Jr College right after graduation and majored in Aero Technology/Inflight Ser...Expand for more
vices (fancy for Flight Attendant) but did not go back the second year because I married an '81 Valley HS graduate. I attended Caldwell Community College in NC and graduated in 2001 with an associates degree in Nursing. As far as college life at Dixie goes, I was a hell raiser. All I will say is it involved itching powder and chocolate flavored ex-lax!!!
Workplace
After leaving college in '82 I worked at the Review Journal for 7 years then I moved to North Carolina. In NC I worked at a Bank for 5 years, an after-school child care for 2 years, a doctors office for 5 years and I am currently at Grace Hospital and has been for 5 years. As you can see if you do the math, I worked 2 jobs at a time.
Military
The military man jumped ship not so sad to say.
