Anyways, I'm going on six years living in Taipei, Taiwan as an ESL teacher although I am planning to return...no, I really mean it this time... either in the summer of 2007 or in the winter of 2008. I'll be heading back to my native Florida where the word "snow" is something other people experience. No kids yet, but my niece and nephew are good practice for all the spoiling I'm going to do of my own little ones. Other than that, nothing much new. School The greatest irony of being a bad student is that now I have to tell my own students to do their homework. Of course, they also know that I disliked doing it as a student and that if I give it to them, it's because I feel it's important and not busy work. If only our teachers had the same attitude. College I wish I could have had more time in college. I had to squeeze everything in within 4 years while I still received my financial aid, but despite all the stuff I went through, especially because of the Marching 110 and feeling royally screwed over in that endeavor, I still wish I could have had one more year. It was the best four years of education that I had ever experienced and I keep wanting to get back into being a college student, even though I know it won't be the same. Late nights in Scott Quad with the original gang (no double dipping!)... Bus rides on "Alpha Sigma Sigma" Row... Living in France my sophomore year... Singing "Gloria" by Poulenc with the combined voices of all of OU's chorale groups... Marching in Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade 2000...Expand for more
