Tasha's Story
Life
After graduation I went to Europe with Susan Dykman, Dana Renner, Jim Burke, Amy Grebitus, Carolyn Christofel, and some cutie with the last name that starts with an "H" He broke his leg on the trip. We had a toga party in spain. It was during the Basque civil war. They had to hide our tour buses for fear that they would be a target for the Basque separtists! We got left behind in Toledo Spain. Finally got up with the group at a cigar factory. We cruised through the greek isles ate calfs brain. And sang loud & way off key in the Plaza de Mejor. Dana fought bulls & cute italian men who kept pinching her butt!
We tangled with English soldiers in Austria trying to get them to put down their arms & leave the Irish alone. What a long strange trip it had been!
School
Ever since our ten year reunion I have been getting together every year, sometimes twice a year with Lisa Williams, Sue Dykman, Carol McCoy, Cathy Connors, & Stacie Orie. We have dubbed ourselves "WI WO WE" Its for Wild Womens Weekend! Our first trip was on board the Carnival for a trip to Mexico. We were very wild --Ask our cabana boy Carl about the Tickler!! We have traveled to Stinson beach w/ cookie dough...Expand for more
, Napa in a limo, San Diego on a yacht, Bodega Bay during a storm with a psychic. The years have progressed we have all married, been through pregnancies, parents passing away, illnesses. We are not as wild, yet I guess you would say "seasoned". These women are the most fascinating, spiritual, intelligent, & beneath it all still quite wild women I will ever encounter!!! God bless them all. Long live the "Wi Wo We"----emblazoned on our butts (we did that in San Diego:)
Workplace
During High School & college I paid for school by working at Longs drug Store on Marconi. Thats where I met my Husband Todd Palmaer (ElCamino 1976). He had just graduated from USC & began working for Arthur Young in Sacto. I went away to St. Marys College in Moraga. I met up again with Amy Grebitus. She was the coxswain on the Men's Crew Team. I rowed for a semester. Todd & I were married in 1984. Moved to San Mateo. Starting working for the Wine industry. Soon had babies. Started working for the World Affairs Council in San Francisco. Moved to Danville. Then eventually So Cal- Newport Beach. Todd runs the orange county division of Standard Pacific Homes.
I hope to begin Graduate school on the fall.
