Ted's Story
Married Eileen in 1981 in Boston and are now living in Santa Barbara. During the past 40 plus years we have moved around the country, starting in Boston where we met and married, then to Ft Collins, CO, then to San Jose, CA , then Santa Cruz, then Carlsbad, CA, then to Westborough, MA, back to the Bay Area, and then to Santa Barbara. We have two sons and daughters-in-law, and three grandsons.
Ted was a marketing, product management, and general management exec in the high tech industry, working for well known companies...Expand for more
(EMC, HP, Cisco) and smaller companies -- one of which he helped take public and another he helped get acquired by Dell EMC. At HP, he launched HP's line of UNIX-based engineering workstations. His first job title out of college was as a "rocket engineer/scientist" (I kid you not) for the Delta rocket, the precursor to SpaceX.
Ted has done 25 marathons, including Boston four times (he ran as a qualified runner there in 2007, 2013, and 2019). At Cornell, as a member of the varsity ski team, he ski raced and ski jumped.
