Ted's Story
After graduation I went to work for Allied Equipment Comoany.then went into the Army with Wayne Pettit and Jack Liddell, but was not medically cleared for 3 weeks. As as result I was 3 weeks behind Wayne & Jack at all our duty stations. After volunteering to go Airborne, I was injured, & sent to Korea, where I spent the rest of my enlistment. work for Vinnell Corp.I worked at various jobs here in Fresno,went to work in Reno Nevada,where I was injured, came back to Fresno and enrolled in Phillips College in an Electronics Technology course and when I graduated with an A.S. went to work at Phillips teaching E.T. Stayed with them 'til the college closed. Then applied at San Joaquin Valley College,then went to Fresno Institute of Technology, where I started a Refrigeration & Air-conditioning (RACT)course for the school.
